Greetings! I married fellow classmate Vickie Toms. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary a couple weeks ago, by spending the weekend in a 2-story suite in Frank Lloyd Wright's - Price Tower, in Bartlesville, OK. Fun stuff for an architect and Wright enthusiasts. I recently had the opportunity to design the exterior of a 9-story patient tower for the St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island, NE. The design included a 7-story glass wall over the main entrance with an abstract metal fillagre pattern intended to simulate a cathedral window. The vice-president of the hospital said when he first saw the abstract pattern what he saw was the image of a man, standing in a robe with his hands outstretched. How cool is that? Life is good.
